Parliamentary Group Launch new website
The Parliamentary Rugby League Group have announced the launch of a website that will allow fans of the sport the opportunity to see how the Group operates; to see which Members of Parliament are involved; and what the Group does on behalf of the sport.
The Group’s Chairman and MP for Leeds North West, Greg Mulholland pressed the button for the site to go live saying “The Parliamentary Rugby League Group has been in action for nearly 25 years. Over that time it has been consistently one of the most active, but many people aren’t aware that MPs are interested in the sport. I think it’s time that we addressed this and a website allows us to show other fans of the sport what MPs are doing for rugby league.”
The site, which can be found at www.apprlg.org.uk will be developed over the summer recess and, when Parliament returns, will include the minutes of meetings and any upcoming activities.
